Diamond Bluff Town Board conducts monthly business
The Diamond Bluff Town Hall meeting was called to order last Thursday, October 8th at 7 p.m. by Town Chair Jeff Holst with Board Members Pat Atherton, Roger Dosdall and Town Clerk Todd Mehrkens present.
Mehrkens announced the Town’s recently acquired voting machine is ready for November’s election.
The claims for payment presented to the Board were paid, highlighted by $3,690.00 to Ekblad Excavating for roadside brushing and mowing as well as $3,737.61 paid to the Pierce County Highway Department for storm damage repair.
Treasurer Mark Place’s report was read before the Board voted to renew Assessor Lisa Meyer’s yearly contract.
Dosdall and Atherton gave an update on the different roads that have been worked on by the County recently.
