Four hurt in Town of Oak Grove crash

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a twovehicle crash with injuries on U.S. Highway 10 and County Trunk E, Prescott, WI in Oak Grove Township last Monday, March 29 at 8:012 a.m.

Reports indicate a 2018 Subaru Legacy being operated by Nicole McCorison, 41, of Ellsworth, was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 10.__ An eastbound 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit operated by Stephanie Ryman, 24, of Prescott, attempted a left turn in-front of McCorison’s vehicle, causing the two vehicles to collide.

Ryman was transported from the scene by Allina Emergency Medical Services to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN with undetermined injuries.__ One juvenile male and one juvenile female were transported by Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service to Regions Hospital with undetermined injuries._ Mc-Corison was transported by personal vehicle to River Falls Area Hospital in River Falls with undetermined injuries.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Allina Emergency Medical Services, Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service, Prescott Fire Department, Pierce County Highway Department and Wisconsin State Patrol.

Prescott woman hurt in motorcycle accident

On Saturday, April 3 at about 6:01 p.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motorcycle crash with injury on U.S. Highway 10 near County Road Am Maiden Rock, in Salem Township.

Lauren Nelson, 26, Prescott, was operating a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on U.S. Highway 10 near County Road A. Nelson failed to see a slowing vehicle in front of her. She tried to brake and lost control which caused her to lay her motorcycle down on its side.

Nelson was transported from the scene by Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, MN with undetermined injuries.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Truck overturns in ditch in Gilman accident

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a one vehicle accident with injury on Highway 29 near 330th St. Spring Valley, WI in Gilman Township on Sunday at 7:50 p.m.

Robert Jeffery, 36, Spring Valley, was operating a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup westbound on Highway 29 when he lost control of his vehicle and entered into the north ditch. The vehicle overturned several times, and Jeffrey was ejected from the vehicle.

Jeffrey was transported from the scene by Spring Valley Area Ambulance Service to Western Wisconsin Health in Baldwin with injuries from the accident and was later transferred to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN.

Assisting the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office on scene was Spring Valley Police and Fire Department and Spring Valley Area Ambulance Service.
