John Krings, an NK Seeds (Syngenta) dealer, presents a bag of seed corn to Plum City FFA member Cameron Krogstad, who was the selected winner by FFA Advisor Kyle Webb. Krogstad will report the yield results for the farm practice next year at the annual presentation. He is the son of Chad and Brenda Krogstad. NK Seeds (Syngenta) is the oldest name in the seed business starting in 1884. They are a global company spending $1.3 billion per year on research and development. In 2019 NK-Syngenta opened their Trait Introgression Facility in Napa, Idaho (Treasure Valley), as a $30 million investment. This will bring gene editing technology products to the market faster.
