The Prescott Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce the induction of Roy Finley, Char Maggee, and Nick Schommer into the Prescott Hall of Fame._ The Fourth Annual Hall of Fame Banquet will be held in the Prescott High School Commons on Saturday, Oct. 9._Doors will open at 6 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the induction program will commence at 7 p.m._Tickets are $25 and will be available for purchase next month at Prescott High School and other community locations. _ A 75-year resident of Prescott, Roy Finley was among the most involved Prescott citizens of the last century. A former city council and school board member, Finley also served as Prescott mayor for two terms._A veteran, Finley was a member of the Pierce County Board of Supervisors, the American Legion, Masons, and served for well over a decade on the Mississippi River Planning Commission. _ Finley’s work was instrumental in the planning, funding, and building of the Great River Road Visitor & Learning Center that has hosted thousands of visitors and programs for decades._ Char Magee, another local volunteer extraordinaire, will also be inducted._A longtime business owner, Magee is a former Prescott Citizen of the Year, and has been an active member of the Prescott community for more than 30 years._ Magee’s extensive involvement in many civic or- HALL OF FAME

After receiving a football scholarship to North Dakota State, Schommer went on to a stellar career with the Bison and was named All Conference twice and Third Team All American during his senior year._After a successful collegiate career, Schommer was drafted and_went to play for the Tennessee
