The Memories

For more than 40 years, The Memories have entertained audiences across the country with their unique harmonies and great songs. The Wisconsin-based duo, Warren Petryk and Tim Stevens, performs at fairs, festivals, community concerts, company and corporate events.

The group got its start singing and playing music together in choir and band at Boyceville High School. In the summer of 1972, the pair was asked to perform for a friend’s weeding dance. Petryk, Stevens, and founding member John Lynch (see above) performed everywhere they could: Village halls, golf courses, high schools, community festivals, weeding dances, night clubs and more.

They’ve opened for legends such as Merle Haggard, Alabama, The Oak Ridge Boys, Ricky Nelson, Barbara Mandrell and others. At their peak, “The Boys from Boyceville” traveled from coast-to-coast on the road 200 days a year. Fifty years later, Petryk and Stevens are still singing together. They continue the tradition of “Music, Laughter and Wonderful Times” by appearing at a select number of events each year.
