SPRING VALLEY – Spring Valley High School will present “The Legend of Robin Hood . . . Sort Of” March 31 through April 2 at the Stagehands Theatre (S234 McKay Ave.)

You’ve heard the story of the brave Sir Robin Hood, the bombastic bandit who robs from the rich and gives to the poor with the aid of his merry men reiterated a million times or more; but have you ever heard the tale of the tree-loving, bow and violin-wielding Robin Hood and his merry…WOMEN?

If not, then please allow the talented high schoolers of Spring Valley to spin you this refreshingly comical take on the classic tale of Robin Hood beneath the lights at Stagehands Theatre! Come along now all ye merry men and women, let these shining young youths take you on an adventure through the friendly trees (and bushes) of Sherwood Forest and on into the courtyard of the dastardly King John. Prepare thyselves for sword duels, staff fights, and some less than stellar bowsmenship on occasion. On the dates of March 31, April 1 and April 2 a rhyming witch, a southern king, a surprisingly artistic sheriff, and much, much more are in store for your viewing pleasure in “The Legend of Robin Hood…Sort Of!”
