Clark County Economic Development Corporation held its fourth Business to Business Expo and Career Fair on May 1, 2024. A number of businesses had booths to visit and there was also representation from organizations that provide resources to businesses. A number of colleges and tech schools also had booths for students to visit. Over 60 exhibitors participated, including businesses from the Owen-Withee area. Exhibitors had the opportunity to network with each other throughout the day.

Over 250 students from area schools had the opportunity to talk to businesses about the job opportunities available to them right here in Clark County. Students had a bingo sheet to fill out. If they filled in their sheet, they got a free ice cream cone provided by Mauel’s Dairy. Each of the communities in Clark County also had the opportunity to shine with information available showing highlights from each.

One of the highlights for students was watching the Life Link III helicopter land and take off.

The day ended with Clark County Economic Development President Pete Kaz talking to the assembled businesses and a plant being presented to each of the 11 sponsors.
