“Urinetown, the Musical” is a humorous satire about a town beleaguered by drought, greed, and corruption. When water becomes so scarce that citizens are forced to pay outrageous fees to use the bathrooms, revolution erupts. The show is funny, timely, and filled with engaging characters and music.
The production is directed by UW-River Falls Stage and Screen Arts lecturer Kathy Welch, with musical direction by Cera Babb and Casey Palbicki of the university’s Music Program.
Urinetown is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
