Matthew Zarins was sentenced in Taylor County court on April 18, 2024 on charges of Homicide by Negligent Handling of a Dangerous Weapon/Explosive and Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place. The homicide charges resulted in a sentence of five years in state prison and five years of extended supervision.
